This week, Aegis Hestia explored Black Temple for the first time! After cruising through the trash fights, we reached the first boss, High Warlord Naj'entus. After a couple of attempts to get the hang of the fight and work out our positioning, we successfully downed him - and without a single death on the attempt either! Great job, everyone! Congrats to the winners of our first Black Temple loot: the Helm of Soothing Currents, which went to Draezele, and Rising Tide, which went to Devilcs. We were running out of time after downing Naj'entus, but we peeked our heads around the corner, clearing most of the trash to the next boss, Supremus. We'll certainly be giving this next boss a piece of our mind next week!

Once again Aegis Hestia was triumphant whilst coming to the aid of the Lady Jaina. After a prolonged and extensive battle, the Demon Anetheron was defeated along with all of his minions. Soon after Anetheron’s timely demise a vast host of Archimonde’s demons over ran the Alliance base and Aegis Hestia made a tactical retreat to the Horde Encampment were we will defeat Kaz’rogal next time.

After putting Leotheras the Blind in his place, we decided to take a look around Mount Hyjal and meet this nice Lady named Jaina who asked for our help. We politely obliged and took out a Lich named Rage Winterchill. After a short struggle, the vile Lich succumbed to our might and surrendered some nice loot. Great job to everybody and congratulations to the winners of the awesome gear.

After plowing through the first three bosses the night before, Aegis Hestia returned to Serpentshrine last night and picked up another guild first, downing the Fathom-Lord Karathress and his cronies. Great job, everyone! We had time for several solid attempts on Leotheras afterwards, but didn't manage to kill him before our scheduled end time. It won't be long now, though! |
